Group ride to the southeast and solo to Hellyer Velodrome – BionicOldGuy

On Tuesday, my group did a quick drive to the southeast, visiting a small farm where they have two large pigs along the way. It was a cold but beautiful day, and the hot soup at lunch was welcome afterwards.

I just caught the top of a female Petunia pig. Her companion Harold was eager for lunch, so he was busy taking a large metal feeding trough in his mouth and banging it against the fence. Unfortunately, I didn’t catch a video of it.

Yesterday was one of my tough rides, all the way to the Hellyer Velodrome at Coyote Creek and back home in just under 3 hours. I did a fast pace for almost the first two hours, then I did intervals and training on the bike on the way home. I was definitely tired after I got home, mostly pleasantly so.
