Before the United Student’s disappearance In the Dominican Republic, She and the last people they were seen with on March 6th were drinking before they decided to swim on a rough surf, which raised questions about the responsibility with which the resort they were staying in could be potentially faced.

In the early morning hours of March 6, Sudiksha Konanki and her friends walked from a hotel bar to the beach in front of Rio Republica in Punta Cani, where she was staying with five friends from a friend University of Pittsburgh.

The twenty-year-old obviously went to swim with a 22-year-old man named Joshua Riibe of Iowa, who was identified in his disappearance as a witness. Riibe obviously told the Dominican Republic authorities that they had swam and hit them with a large wave, which was the last time he saw it.

“I was done in Natalee Holloway’s investigation back when. And although there are some similarities here, there are some differences,” said Chris Swecker, a former Assistant Director of FBI for a criminal investigation, for Fox News Digital. “But in this case, I think it’s probably, based on everything I read, that it was drowning. … I don’t think it’s an unusual assumption here, based on the facts that they were both pretty drunk.”

Riibe told the police that he drank vodka with 7UP and Tequila recordings, adding that the group of women with whom he was with bought “Pink Tequila recordings” they drank as a group.

On the beach, he and Konanki went to the water, while two of her friends remained ashore. Riibe and Konanki talked when they hit them “a big wave,” Riibe said. The beach on the beach was a warning with red treasure, indicating a warning that people don’t go swimming in rough surfing.

“When it comes to the ocean … If you do not recover your body quite quickly, then the sea life will take care of it,” Swecker said. “And so far we haven’t seen the body washing.”

Swecker, who is also a lawyer, added that he could “definitely see the issue of responsibility for the resort” regarding Konanki’s disappearance.

“Depending on the industrial standards for such a resort, where there are enough cameras, were they … people were out of the hotel for electricity disappearance. Should there be security on the beach?” he asked.

Just two hours before Konanki’s disappearance, Riu Republik solved almost a 25-hour electricity interruption that affected about 30% of the resort, leaving some people without light, water, wi-fi or electricity in their rooms to fill phones or other electronics.

“In response to publications that connect the electric failure experienced at the Riu Republic Hotel with a tragic disappearance of the guest of Sudiksha Chowdary Konanki, Riu Hotels & Resorts wants to firmly clarify that both events are completely unrelated,” Riu Resorts & hotels previously told Fox News in A Digital in A.

The hotel’s home company added that the efforts of the RIU Republica staff “were exemplary in terms of dedication, dedication and professionalism in dealing with a serious technical failure within a few hours and relieving the effects he had on services during that time.”

Luis Vilchez, a lawyer in the Dominican Republic, does not think that the resort will be considered responsible, unless the guests prove that “the hotel or its employees acted reckless.”

“If the guest behaves recklessly, the hotel would, in principle, be responsible.”

“Similarly, as far as swimming conditions on the beach is concerned, it would have to be shown that the hotel failed to provide appropriate inscriptions to inform the guests of the proper use of the beach,” Vilchez told Fox News Digital.

“If the guest behaved recklessly, the hotel would, in principle, be responsible – for example, if the guest swims outside a certain hours when no rescuer was on duty and despite the visible signs of danger, such as red flags that indicate bad weather.”

He continued: “In this particular case, I do not see the basics of the claim against resorts when two adults failed to follow the security measures that the hotel found to prevent the accident. That is, it would be necessary to prove that the hotel was neglected in the indication, communication or implementation of security measures.”

Swecker said that it would be possible for the Finals of the Square to sue the resort for negligence if there was no “insufficient safety”, “insufficient beach lighting” or for failure to close or secure the beach during a warning of a red poultry.

Fox News Digital addressed Riu Republik to comment.
