Newcastle 1 – 2 Fulham
Newcastle missed the opportunity to move to Top Four, as Fulham came from behind and won 2-1 in St. James thanks to the replacement of the late goal of Rodriga Muniz.
Newcastle controlled the match at halftime via the opening of Jacob Murphy’s close range, as Fulham failed to shoot on the target.
But the visitors were a completely different team in the second half, as Raul Jimenez was deservedly equalized in the 61th minute before his replacement Muniz deftly ran home, the 82 -minute winner from a free kick to stun the side of Eddie Howe.
