A man who is 92 years old not only still competes in his choice activity – teaches other secrets how live long, A healthy and fulfilled life.
Ivan Pedley, a retired tool manufacturer, plays Ping Pong twice a week – and said he had no plans to stop doing it soon.

The pensioner plays approximately 14 games a week at Great Wryley Table Tennis Club in Staffordshire, West Midlands, England.
He often opposes opponents who are much younger than him, Swws said.
While he may have slowed down a little over time, Pedley said he rarely collapsed from the table and that success in sports is all about “technique”.

Said Pedley, who lives in Walsall, West Midlands, “I enjoy every minute.”

He said that even though the others who play maybe “faster” than he, “is all in the technique.”
There are “a lot of people in their 60s” playing, he said, “but I play younger people. I’m trying to play everything in the club.”

He said he found his passion for Ping Pong while he was a teenager – and let him go for a while when he was in his 20s.

Pedley goes to the club Tuesdays and Fridays, he said – spending three hours there every time.
He said, “I don’t want to sit here and don’t do anything. I like to stick to healthy … I’m going on. It makes me get up and do.”

He added that he was part of the club, “Once you surrender, you have to try to show up. I would tell anyone to join the club to start.”

He said, “I have made amateur competitions. I have certificates from what I have achieved in table tennis.”

Club secretary Tony Reeds said Swns -uo Pedley, “He will always put his heart in it.”
He said Pedley would play against “anyone” who enters the club to play Ping Pong.

Pedley tells people, “If you want to be in shape, this is a way to do it,” said Reeds.
