Robbery crew in New York stole ATMs, cash from 49 stores across the city: police
A robbery team is wanted New York City after stealing ATMs and tens of thousands of dollars in cash from 49 stores across the city over a three-month period, according to authorities.
Police said the trio of burglars broke into 49 stores across Upper Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens between September 19 and December 26. The New York Post reported.
The group stole ATMs from convenience stores and made off with cash and other goods before fleeing in cars that were also stolen, police said.
Fox News Digital reached out to the NYPD for more information, but did not immediately hear back.

Police said the burglary ring stole $40,000 in cash from two robberies in September, although the total dollar amount from ATMs stolen during the three-month period is uncertain.
The New York police announced surveillance video on Saturday showing two unidentified suspects removing an ATM from the store.
Police have not arrested anyone yet.
Authorities have asked the public for any information about the suspects involved in the attack burglary pattern.

As of December 29, 2024, public police data shows that 12,923 burglaries have been reported citywide year-to-date, a 6% decrease compared to the same period in 2023.
