Hannity Reveals What He Told Trump After Losing 2020 Election: ‘Winston Churchill’ Returns
Fox News anchor Sean Hannity revealed that he said President Donald Trump after losing the 2020 election that a return to the White House four years into the Biden administration would be “bigger” than a consecutive victory, comparing it to Winston Churchill’s return to the post of World War II prime minister.
“Maybe I shouldn’t reveal this, but I will, and it was after the 2020 election and you asked me a question. And we’ve known each other for 30 years, so we have a friendship and we have a professional relationship,” Hannity said in his exclusive interview with Trump. on Wednesday.
“And the question you asked me, maybe in the end it will be better if I come back in four years. And we talked about history, Winston Churchill was kicked out, but they brought him back Grover Cleveland, the only other American president who didn’t serve consecutive terms.

Churchill served as prime minister twice, from 1940 to 1945 and again from 1951 to 1955. Trump is the second US president to serve two non-consecutive terms behind President Grover Cleveland, the nation’s 22nd and 24th presidents.

Hannity explained that he believes “it would be better if you came back.” Trump agreed that it was already taking shape after three days in office.
“It’s turning out to be bigger. And I think one thing that’s happening is that people are learning that they can’t govern and that their policies are terrible. I mean, they don’t want to see a woman get beaten by a man in a boxing ring?” he said.
Trump sat down for his first White House interview on Wednesday after being sworn in as the 47th president on Monday.
