The letter comes because Gabbard is under the supervision of some senators who were critical of her intelligence experience.
But Gabbard’s allies defended their record and said it was critical that someone with “fresh eyes” and “without bias” leads the intelligence community. They also claimed that Gabbard knew, firsthand, the consequences of incorrect intelligence, given her service in the war against terrorism.

Gabbard’s certificate hearing with the Senate Intelligence Committee should be held on Thursday morning.
Trump claimed that Gabbard would bring “a fearless spirit that defined his glorious career to our intelligence community, advocating our constitutional rights and ensuring peace with power.”
The Director of the National Intelligence Service is conducted by the US intelligence community, which includes the supervision of the National Intelligence Program and the consultation of the President on security issues.

Gabbard served as a landowner in military reserves of 2021, after serving in the National Guard of the Hawaiian Army for about 17 years. She was chosen in American house representing Hawaii during The 2012 election cycle, which was a Democrat by 2021. She did not ask for a re -election to that office after she entered the White House race in 2020.
Gabbard left the 2022 Democratic Party, registering as independent before he became a member of the GOP in 2024 offered her full approval of Trump in the midst of his presidential campaign.
Gabbard received the support of dozens of national security officers, and in December he received approval of more than 250 veteransIncluding high names such as retired General Michael Flynn and former acting defense secretary Chris Miller.
