Speaking on Starc’s condition, Carey praised the left-handed pacer’s strength and expressed confidence in Starc’s resilience, describing him as one of the strongest cricketers he has played with. Despite occasional discomfort and visible signs of pain, Carey believes Starc will persevere and be ready for the challenge.
“He’ll be fine. They will push through. I played with Starcy (Mitchell Starc) for a long time and he is one of the strongest cricketers I have played with. He’ll grimace and grab his rib now and then no doubt, but he’ll be ready to compete,Carey told reporters.
