NBA HISTORY: Nikola Jokic Records First time 30-20-20 Triple-Double

Denver Nuggets Star Nikola Jokic became the first player in NBA history to record a Triple-Double 30-20-20 on Friday night on Friday night via the Phoenix Suns.
And his reaction to a historic feat was exactly what Jokic’s fans would expect to hear from Serbia basketball player.

“It is not assumed to go that route,” Jokic said. “I talked to (Aaron Gordon), and he told me, ‘It was a quiet 30 points. “I did nothing special, it just seemed like everyone was up to date.”

Jokic told Sportscenter separately that he would be able to truly appreciate the achievement when “on my couch” after his career ended.
“I can’t describe him, so don’t ask me,” coach Denver Michael Malone told reporters after the game. “The guy is just an amazing player, and when you are one of one in this league, with a huge history of this league, he says a lot. There are a lot of good players in this league, but in my opinion, Nicholas is only in the class.”

Jokic ended the night with 31 points, 21 rebounds and 22 career assists in Nuggets’ 149-141 extension over To the sun.
He also tied the franchise record with his 29th three -year double season, and was currently in the first three in the league with an average of 28.9 points, 12.9 rebounds and 10.6 assists per game.
