Even before he is sworn in next week, Donald Trump he has already made the most incredible comeback in American political history.
In four years, he’s gone from being universally banned by Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Spotify, Snapchat, Instagram, Shopify, Reddit, Twitch, TikTok, and Pinterest to most of those companies donating to his inaugural celebration and their CEOs looking for calls to dinner at Mar-a-Lago with him.
I predict that Trump’s election in 2024 will continue to be written about as an epochal event in American history long after everyone reading this today is gone.
But that will be decided by future historians.

So far, Trump has done something even more remarkable than launch a 312 electoral vote comeback that will be talked about for generations. His monumental presidential victory in 2024 did something Trump’s most ardent critics never believed possible—he delivered the least racially polarized presidential victory since before the Civil Rights Movement.
Let me say that again because it’s such a stunning and monumental achievement—Trump’s 2024 presidential victory is the least racially polarized presidential victory since Lyndon Johnsonis in 1964.
That is, white, black, Asian, and Hispanic voters voted less racially divided than at any time, almost, in the lifetime of anyone reading this column today.
Yes, unless you were born in 1946 or earlier, you’ve never voted in a presidential election where the races were less divided, where Americans of all colors were more alike in their voting habits.
Not Ronald Reagan in 1984, not Barack Obama in 2008, a Trump victory in 2024 brought the races closer than any election in 60 years.
Doesn’t it seem like this fact should be everywhere?
Amazingly though, I bet many of you haven’t heard or read any discussion of this at all.
That’s because there’s often a lot more money to be made tearing us apart than celebrating how similar we are.

Indeed, Trump’s electoral coalition may be the most significant achievement of his entire political career and offers an incredible moment of optimism for those of us who have grown accustomed to constant bitterness and division.
With Latino, Asian, and Black support surging, Trump has moved all 50 states red, won all seven battleground states, and driven a stake into the poisonous cancer of identity politics, the root cause of so much hatred and division in our country, hopefully once and for all.
How did it happen? How the man who is the most in the legacy of the media spent nine years attacking as America’s own version of Adolf Hitler manage to bring so many different people from so many different races into your coalition?
I think the answer is simple: many people of all races have come to see the lies told to them by the legacy media. Many of these voters didn’t just vote for Trump, they specifically voted against the same people who gave us the Charlottesville hoax and the censorship of the truth during COVID. Trump’s victory was a statement of support for free speech and the marketplace of ideas.
It was, of course, also a massive rejection of President Biden’s economic policies, our wide-open border and the rise in violent crime and the lenient treatment of those who commit violent crimes.
As I have been saying for some time, this was an election about the EBC, the economy, borders and crime.

Everyone, regardless of race, cares about pocket money issues, the rule of law, and the incarceration of violent criminals.
How else to explain the dramatic growth in support for Trump at the polls? Let’s remember that Trump won the election in 2016 with 65.8 million votes. By 2024, he would receive 77.3 million votes. So during the nine-year period when the legacy media relentlessly attacked him and claimed he was a HITler, Trump received approximately 12 million votes.
Where did most of those votes come from?
The data tells us – minorities and young men.
Consider, in 2020 — according to the Wall Street Journal, citing AP polling data — Joe Biden won black voters for 83 points. By 2024, Kamala beat Trump by just 67 points among black voters. That’s a net shift of 16% of black voters toward Trump, a seismic shift in a short period of time.
Hispanic voters also moved in Trump’s direction in a massive way.
In 2020, Joe Biden won Hispanic voters by 28 points. By 2024, Kamala’s margin was only 14, a net gain of 14 points for Trump.
As of 2020, Asian voters, similarly, according to Edison Research, went from voting for Biden by 27 points to voting for Kamala by 15 points in 2024, a net gain of 12 points for Trump.
In an election in which each party is often fighting for a point or two at the margins, the double-digit increase in black, Hispanic and Asian voters for Trump is a political shock.
And where did Trump get many of these gains? With young men aged 18 to 29 who voted for him by a whopping 14 points. It is a a big win for Trump by any measure, but it becomes even more incredible when you consider that Biden won men 18-29 by 15 points in 2020. So young men have moved 29 points toward Trump in just four years.
To put this into further context, the two most conservative voting groups in America by age in 2024 were men 65 and older and men 18-29 – both of which supported Trump by more than 14 margins.
What explains this sudden alignment between older and younger men? Especially since older men are much less racially diverse than younger men?

It’s simple, young men of all races overwhelmingly reject revival culture and vote in a similar direction regardless of race.
That is, the era of identity politics, especially for young men, is over.
They recognize, better than most, the lies they have been fed.
Indeed, the data suggests that 14- to 17-year-olds, the next age group to be eligible to vote in 2028, are even more conservative than their older brothers. Republicans, if they run a strong 2028 campaign and deliver on economic promises, will increase margins among these voters.
There has been much debate about how this surge in support from young men has come about – focus on male-focused podcasts and sportsfor example, by the Trump campaign—but less discussion of what that means when it comes to the racial polarization of America, namely that it’s all crumbling.
Racists who constantly want to divide us based on the color of our skin are losing in the marketplace of ideas.

Americans of all races reject their arguments and divisive tactics.
We are finally getting closer to Martin Luther King Jr.’s dream. about a free and equal society that is not defined by race.
I could write a whole book about the seismic impact of this election – and maybe I should, but that’s for the future.
For now, as Trump prepares for his inauguration on January 20th, what I want all Americans, regardless of race, to know is that it has finally been three generations since the racial divide has been less pronounced in American presidential politics.

So as the inauguration approachesI’m incredibly optimistic about what Trump will accomplish for all of us, but I’m even more amazed at what he’s already done—bringing the races closer together than we’ve been in three generations.
This does not mean that America is perfect, but it certainly suggests that we continue to create a more perfect community where we can all be judged by the content of our character rather than the color of our skin.
