Manchester United they have now made contact with the “incredible” Premier League side over a possible transfer this month, according to a new report.

The Red Devils return to action on Thursday when they welcome Southampton to Old Trafford in a game that Ruben Amorim believes it will “teach him more” about his team than the previous two games against Liverpool and Arsenal. Amorim said before the game against Saints: “I think this next game will teach me more from my players than the last two. I’m really focused to see what kind of game we play tomorrow.
“So I’ll learn more tomorrow. Like I said, [it’s] because there are no expectations in the last two games. No one believed that we could make a big performance either [be] win the game. But now they expect us to win and play well, so I will learn more in this game.”
Ahead of this game, speculation continues about the players United could sign this month. On Wednesday, it turned out to be The Red Devils follow Stefanos Tzimas FC Nurnberg after learning that he is open to a move to the Premier League. United are among a host of Premier League sides, including Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Tottenham, who are all interested in signing the forward.

The striker is expected to be available for a summer transfer but the German side will want £25million after making his loan move from PAOK permanent. Unfortunately for United, they are already on the back foot, as Liverpool have already made an approach to sign Tzimas.

There is still a strong possibility that Marcus Rashford could leave Old Trafford this month, and if he does, United could already have a replacement in place, as RMC Sport reports United have inquired about signing Bryan Mbeum from Brentford.
United are not the only team to have inquired about the player, as Arsenal and Tottenham have also made the same moves. The report states that all three teams could go and make a bid for Mbeuma before the transfer window closes this month.
Mbeumo, who is described as “incredible” by Thomas Frank, has become one of the most exciting strikers in the Premier League. The Cameroon international has scored 31 goals in the last three Premier League seasons, including 13 this season after 21 games. The 25-year-old is under contract with Brentford until the summer of 2026, with the option to extend for a further 12 months, and it has been reported that the Bees could want as long as 60 million pounds for his services.
However, United could face a tough challenge in prying Mbeum away from Brentford, as Frank said “no way” after being asked about the chances of selling the striker this month: “No! It’s very easy to answer… no way.”
