Rams star Demarcus Robinson was charged with DUI for an arrest in November, days before a playoff game
Los Angeles Rams receiver Demarcus Robinson has been charged with drunken driving since his November arrest. The news comes just days ahead of the team’s playoff game against the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night.
The Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office confirmed to TMZ Sports that Robinson was recently charged with one misdemeanor count of DUI since his Nov. 25 arrest.
California Highway Patrol troopers saw Robinson, 30, driving a white Dodge sedan “traveling in excess of 100 miles per hour” just a few miles from the Rams’ practice complex in Woodland Hills around 5:10 a.m., according to a news release.

The arrest came just hours after the Rams’ 37-20 loss Philadelphia Eagles at home.

Robinson apologized after the news broke in November.
“I don’t want to bring that kind of light or any negative energy towards the team,” he said. “Those kinds of things are not natural for me, in my nature, things that I normally do.”
Rams coach Sean McVay said at the time that Robinson made a “bad decision,” but added, “I don’t think that makes him a bad person.”
The team did not suspend him after his arrest.

According to TMZ Sports, Robinson is set to return in court in February.
