Residents of LA wake up to hellish skies and charred houses
Residents of Los Angeles woke up on Wednesday to the effects of various fires that continue to burn across the city. At least two people were killed and dozens were injured.
The video shows one resident watching her house burn, comparing her neighborhood to driving through a “war zone.”
LA Fire Chief Kristin Crowley says the four ongoing fires — Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Woodley — are at 0% containment and are “stretching” responders to their limits. More than 1,000 structures have burned in the Palisades fire, which broke out Tuesday morning, officials say.
