Man Utd & Tottenham face new competition in pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani


Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Randal Kolo Muani this month have been dashed by reports of significant interest from Serie A giants Juventus.

Kolo Muani, a €90m signing in the summer of 2023, has fallen out of favor with Paris Saint-Germain manager Luis Enrique and has been made available for transfer this month, with a number of clubs investigating loan moves.

Man Utd and Spurs have made contact about the move of the French, but Gianluca Di Marzio notes that fellow Juventus suitors have decided to go all-in on Kolo Muani in the January window.

Juve’s desire to sign a new striker this month is no secret. They watched West Ham’s Niclas Fullkrug and Joshua Zirkzee Man Utdbut Kolo is believed to see Muani as his top priority in the coming weeks.

In Turin, they believe that the 26-year-old will be open to a transfer, with Juve now they work fast to try to close the deal ahead of the competition.

PSG is looking for a new striker to replace Kolo Muani. Negotiations are underway with Napoli over winger Khvich Kvaratskhelia, who is also of interest to Man Utdwhile Chelsea striker Christopher Nkunku is among the targets.

When PSG find a replacement, they are expected to give the green light to Kolo Muani’s departure.
