Indian actress and host of ‘Date With a Superstar’, Sahiba Balishe made headlines during the opening episode of her show when she interviewed the Australian cricket captain Pat Cummins.
The honest confession of Sahib Bali
During the episode, Sahiba candidly acknowledged the huge fan following Cummins has in India, especially among women. She also revealed her own admiration for the cricketer, adding a humorous touch to an otherwise professional interview.
“You have a huge fan following in India, especially among women,” said the sahiba. “There is a huge, huge sect of women who are absolutely in love with you; including me, including my best friend. She texted me saying, ‘Oh, you’re meeting Pat Cummins. I’m so jealous of you.’ Obviously, everyone knows you’re married, but how do you satisfy a woman’s attention?”
The Australian captain, caught off guard but remaining composed, replied with a laugh, “I don’t even know where to start with that. I don’t know, I’m just doing my thing.”

Pat Cummins’ reaction to female attention
As the conversation progressed, celebrity actress Laila Majnu continued, asking if Cummins acknowledges or chooses to ignore the love and admiration he receives from fans, especially women.
“Not really,” Cummins replied thoughtfully. “I mean, it’s funny. In India you obviously see the fans and the audience and those things…”
Sahiba interjected, “And they’re crazy.”
“And they are crazy,” Cummins agreed, adding, “But, I think, most of the time we spend as a team, in a hotel or with family. So sometimes you don’t have a lot of one-on-one interaction.”
