Leeds United and the 49ers are weighing whether to sell the young linebacker who impressed while on loan this month, according to a new report.

The Whites have yet to complete their transfer business, but there is still plenty of time Daniel Farke to strengthen his side this month, despite saying he would not “expect a lot” in terms of income.

This week began with reports that Leeds were interested in signing the defender Andrew Omobamidele from Nottingham Forest. Yorkshire have opened negotiations to sign the centre-back as he looks to find regular football after falling out of favor with Nuno Espirito Santo.
Besides looking at Omobamidele, Leeds are also considering making a bid for Emmanuel Latte Lath from Middlesbrough. The man from Bora is considered a player that the Whites like, but they are not alone in their pursuit, as West Ham, Leicester City and Ipswich Town are also chasing the striker.
Furthermore, Tottenham Hotspur’s Ben Davies is a player Leeds have been linked with for some time, and journalist Ben Jacobs has now revealed that the Welshman could end his contract and sign for the Whites in the summer: “With Davies, the natural thing is to terminate the contract. Leeds United remain interested. So it could be one to watch in the coming weeks.”
49ers are considering selling Leeds jewel after returning from loan
The arrivals will be the center of attention for the Championship side, but according to the Yorkshire Evening Post, Leeds are open to selling midfielder Cian Coleman if a transfer becomes available that suits the player and the club.
The 20-year-old came through the academy at Thorp Arch, playing for the club’s under-18s and under-21s. Coleman played 80 games for Leeds’ academy, and impressed, adding many goals and assists.
In October, Leeds decided to send Coleman on loan to National League North side Buxton FC. The deal was for an initial one-month loan but, given the impact he made at the club in his short time there, that deal was then trebled to run until the start of the January transfer window.
Coleman is now back at Elland Road and is eligible to go on loan to a higher club. A new loan move for the second half of the campaign is expected to be considered by the Championship, but the Yorkshire Evening Post also add that a permanent move could be sanctioned for the player, who is out of contract at the end of this season. Leeds are known for allowing young players to leave the club on a permanent basis for minimal fees when their contract expires.
