Trump White House pulls David Weldon nomination for CDC director

The White House pulls Dave Weldon’s nomination for the disease control and prevention centers (CDC), Fox News Digital has learned. Weldon was expected to have a certificate hearing on Thursday.

The Committee on Health, Education, Work and Pensions of Senate (HOMS) has announced that he has canceled a hearing in a statement on Thursday morning. However, it confirmed that the legislators would continue to vote on Dr. Jay Bhattacharye nominations for the director of the National Health Institutes (NiH) and Dr. Marty Makary for the Commissioner of the US Food and Medication Administration.
