Six Nations: Joe Roberts was named out of position on Wing for Wales vs England in Cardiff | News of rugby

Wales made two changes in his initial XV before hosting England at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff for their final meeting of six nations.
After calling the unchanged side from the third round to the fourth round – he did it for the first time in 66 2019 tests – temporary main coach Matt Sherratt failed to repeat the feat because of the broken thumb that suffered the impressive wing of Tom Rogers.
Instead, Joe Roberts – usually the center – was appointed to start wings for the first time in his professional career. Indeed, each of the previous 32 starts of the 24-year-old arrived at the outer center.
The second change in Wales comes in the back order because Aaron Wainwright replaces Tommy Reffella, which goes down to the bench. That change means that Wales fields on the back row of Wainwright, Captain Jaca Morgan and no. 8 Taulupe to Faleleta for the first time from their victory in the World Cup World Cup in 2023 over Australia.
Wales asks to complete a record ride of 16 direct defeats from the test when we welcome England, which is still involved in the Six Nations mix.
Somewhere else on the side, full Bek Blair Murray and Wing Ellis Mee complete the back of the trio with Roberts, while the central pairing remains Max Llewellyn and Ben Thomas.
Gareth Anscombe and Tomos Williams fill half the back again, while the front line unit Nicky Smith, Elliot Dee and Willgriff John unchanged.
On the bench, Lake Dewi, Gareth Thomas, Kearon Assiratti, Teddy Williams, Reffell, Rhodri Williams, Jarrod Evans and Nick Tompkins are completing the team.
“Wales VS England is always a special opportunity and we know it will be an amazing atmosphere at the Principality Stadium,” Sherratt said.
“We are excited to finish the campaign at home and want to perform our best appearance on the field on Saturday.”
