Moeen Ali says that the potential suspension of former England Harry Brook from IPL “is not sharp”.
Brook withdrew for the second year from a contract with the Delhi Capitals franchise, while it announces its international obligations ahead of this series with five tests this summer at home in India and then ashes in Australia since November.
The new IPL rules stipulate that any player who withdraws after the auction has faced a two -season ban, with exceptions only for injuries or medical reasons.

Moeen: Brook probably just wants a break
Brook is one of the front runners who took over as a captain of the English white ball with Jos Buttler who resigned from the role after leaving the group stage in the champion trophy.
Yorkshireman could take responsibility at the ODIS and T20 International, or maybe just the latter if the Ben Stokes test skipper becomes a captain for over 50 years, something that the English director of men’s crunch Rob Key says he is ready to be considered.
Moeen believes that Brook is a player of all formats and will potentially take the leading positions for the reasons for his withdrawal of IPL.
