The new recruit of the RCB Phil Salt was involved in a funny compound with evergreen Virat Kohli during the event at the UNBOX team ahead of the upcoming Indian Premier League season. During the event, Kohli saw him hug salt as they both shared laughing with each other.
At M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengalur, the players threw the balls on the piles in the stands as souvenirs. However, salt was wrong with the cohlie on the side of his head by mistake by one of the balls. Virat Kohli remained shocked after hitting and looking for a player who hit the ball.
When he found out that it was no one else but Phil Salt, they both got involved in the rush and hugged themselves. Both players continued to circulate over the ground to thank the crowd for their huge support.

After the incident, Phil Salt shared the details and claimed that Virat Kohli sought him after hitting his head. Salt even claimed that someone on the team pointed his finger at him, which encouraged Kohli to follow him.
England Wickeket-Batter claimed to run away from the place after learning that he had been caught, but Kohli arrived there at any time, giving him a barely space to escape.
“I just saw Virat (Kohli) in my eyes. And honestly, just so nicely got him aside. He literally hit the winding look around me. And … I don’t know who pointed at me, he thought it was someone else, and then his eyes turned and looked serious,” she mentioned the salt.
“I didn’t stick myself! I tried to get out straight, but he was on me at all. If there is a recording of that, it will be very, very funny,” said Wickeket-Batter in the video shared by RCB.
Virat Kohli is excited to play in IPL 2025
RCB organized an UNBOX event just days before the IPL 2025 start. The players enjoyed a musical event that the audience had extinguished. Virat Kohli praised the team and expressed his excitement.
“I am incredible to return to this amazing city, incredible fans and excitement and happiness like any other season high. I’ve been here for 18 years and I absolutely love it,” Kohli said.
“We have an amazing team and a lot of talent this time. I’m personally very excited to start the season ahead,” added the 36-year-old.
Phil Salt IPL 2025 Price
Phil Salt played for Kolkat Knight Riders last year, but was signed by Royal Challengers Bengalur at the IPL 2025 mega auction for INR 11.50 Crore. Wickeket-Batter had a fantastic season of last year and played a key role in transferring KKR to victory in the title.
Meanwhile, Virat Kohli retained the RCB ahead of the IPL 2025 auction for INR 21 crore. The Talisman dough withdrew from the T20I format, but continues to play in IPL because of its beloved franchise.
RCB has to win the title so far and is one of the few teams who have not won any IPL trophy. They will ask you to break Jinx this year by putting on a trophy this time.
