The crowds in Belgrade converge because of the protest gathering against the President and the Serbian government

Tens of thousands of people descended to Belgrade on Saturday as part of a mass gathering that is considered to be superior months of protests against populist President Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and his government.

The big crowds of protesters waving the flag brought together after meeting several agreed protest places in various parts of the capital, which was put on a high warning. All public transportation was canceled.

On the eve of the demonstration, Vucic repeatedly warned of alleged plans for unrest, while threatening arrests and sharp penalties for any incident.
