Captain Rajasthan Royals Sanja Sanja Samson opened his relationship with the legendary Indian Crite MS Dhoni just before the Indian Premier League season. Samson called his dream to be in Dhoni’s contact and wants to learn from his idol.
Both Sanja Samson and Mrs. Dhoni will play for his teams in IPL 2025. While Samson is still growing as a player and has a great responsibility on the shoulders as a captain, Dhoni is in the last phase of his IPL career.

Sanja Samson interrupts silence about his relationship with Mrs. Dhoni
During a conversation with Jiohotstar, Sanja Samson revealed that his relationship with Mrs. Dhoni actually began. He claimed that he wanted to be around Mrs. Dhoni, like any other Indian cricket and asked him about his process by doing things.
“Like any young Indian cricket, I always wanted to be around Mrs. Dhoni. Every time we played against CSK, I wanted to sit and talk to him, ask him how he works. It was a dream for me,” Samson said.
“I remember playing a game against CSK in Sharjah, where I finally performed well, scored about 70-80 running, won the game and became a man of the match. After that I met Mahi Bhai (MS Dhoni) and since then our relationship has grown,” he added.
During IPL 2020, Sanja Samson dropped a great 74 out of only 32 balls while hitting the number 3 for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings. Samson hit 1 four and 9 magnificent sixties in this match to take his team to a pronounced victory.

Further speaking in conversation, Samson called it a blessed sense of being in Dhoni’s contact. He called and idolized Mrs. Dhoni as his dream and enjoyed every opportunity with the legendary guards.
“Only yesterday, I met him again (MS Dhoni). He is truly blessed with an idoling to sit with him for shooting and events now. I feel like I’m living my dream,” Samson said.

Will MS Dhoni withdraw after IPL 2025?
Dhoni will appear for Chennai Super Kings in IPL 2025, but they will not lead a team. He resigned from the captain after led by CSK to the title of IPL 2023 and crossed the baton to the Gaikwad ruturaj.
However, CSK failed to qualify for the knockout last season. Dhoni has already indicated that he wants to enjoy the last few years of his career as much as he can. He made it clear that he did not yet think too much about retirement and just wanted to continue.
Dhoni kept CSK on the auction of the IPL 2025 for INR 4 crore in the Uncapped Players category. Samson, on the other hand, also kept his team Rajasthan Royals for INR 18 Crore.
