The club are keen to sign the 6ft 2 Leeds player who was just signed by the 49ers

It was a peaceful transition period Leeds United so far, but that could change as the club in France hope to sign the one-man who just arrived at Elland Road, according to a new report.

Leeds United transfer news

The January transfer window is always a difficult month for completing transfers, and with Daniel Farke Having previously stated that he was not a fan of this window, it is no surprise to see that the Whites are yet to do any transfer business.

Farke is eyeing a big January signing in the “terrible” Rutter who is recurring for Leeds

Leeds United appear to be targeting reinforcements all over the pitch this January.

However, with more than two weeks to go before the deadline, plans could change as Leeds could be forced into the transfer market if they lose players.

The Championship leaders have been linked with potential new arrivals, as reported earlier this week Leeds scouts were watching Bali Mumba in action for Plymouth Argyle in their FA Cup win over Brentford. The defender is a player Farke knows well, as he worked together at Norwich City.

Meanwhile, a report also surfaced on Wednesday claiming that Leeds made an offer of 4 million euros for Dje Davila from the Portuguese side of Leiria. That is reportedly the figure the club wants to get for the midfielder, but the deal looks very complicated to close, as the player must obtain a work permit. Apart from Leeds, other teams are also showing great interest in Davilla.

The French club are hoping to sign the Leeds midfielder

As the Whites look at potential new players, there could be an exit on the horizon as Jeunes Footeux report that Paris FC are interested in signing Joshua Guilavogui from Leeds.

Guilavogui, who only joined the Whites in October as a free agent, has appeared on the Ligue 2 side’s radar. Paris’ interest in the 34-year-old is understood to be “ambitious”, but Paris are looking to get into Ligue 1 by the end of this campaign and could see the midfielder as someone who can help achieve that.

The Frenchman has signed a contract until the end of this season at Elland Road and has made 10 appearances for the Whites so far; only one came from the start, and that was in a recent FA Cup game against Harrogate Town. Guilavogui was brought in by Farke to bolster his midfield options, as at the time Leeds were having an injury crisis and were short in that area.

Guilavogui has played a small role so far, but with plenty left in the Championship, Farke may want to keep the physically imposing 6ft midfielder, as his versatility makes him a key man to have around the team in in case the Whites suffer injuries or suspensions.
