One of the worst environmental and public health crises is in America happens precisely in southern California – And that is neglected. If you lived here, you know the truth: we poison the sewer from another country, and no one stops it.
In the past five years, more than 100 billion gallons of raw sewer, Industrial waste and poisonous runoff from Tijuana flooded across the border to our community. Let it sink: 100 billion gallons. Only in 2023, 44 billion Galona went to the US – the most recorded.
This sewage is not just disgusting – it is dangerous. It contains E. coli, bacteria resistant to antibiotics, arsenic and other toxic chemicals. Our water is polluted. Our air is contaminated with aerosolized waste. Residents report everything, from skin infection to viral pharyngitis – and even family pets get sick after exposure. And some beaches are now closed more than 1,000 consecutive days. It is almost three years of lost access to one of the greatest natural assets in America.

Our navy seal train north of this toxic flow. Local families cannot enjoy the ocean. Tourism hit. And the crisis still continues.
The pollution of the border continues to become far worse, and 100 billion sewer gallons pass through Mexico. Millions of dollars of taxpayers have been spent. Just like the crisis of homelessness, we saw that the Government was throwing money on the problem without anything. Pollution is constantly coming. The promises are constantly breaking through. The lead continues the failure.
Let’s be honest: Mexico failed to fix it, And the United States failed to consider them responsible. Through more administration, we have seen poor supervision, delayed action and zero results. It has to end.

I hope that with the EPA commissioner Lee Zeldin and Trump’s administration will be willing to counteract Mexico, we will finally get the guidance that this crisis requires. It’s time for action. No more delays. No more finger directing. Just solutions.
Holds Mexico responsible. Protect the southern California. Protect our country.
