Separate reports from Sydney Morning Heralda and Australian newspaper said Albanese should visit the Governor General Sam Mostyna in Canberri on Friday to call the elections.
Albanese must receive Mostyn’s authority, which, as a general governor, represents the king of King Charles-Official Boss of the United Kingdom of the United Kingdom-to dissolve Parliament and declare a general election.
The Australian reported that the vote would be held on May 3, although Albanese’s office is yet to comment on the claim.
