A woman from North Carolina mixes our nail glue and eye drops
AND Mother from North Carolina went viral on TikTok after sharing that she mistakenly put nail glue, instead of medical eye drops, in her eyes – leading to a hospital visit.
A painful accident landed the mother, who is also a foster parent, at her local hospital in Concord, North Carolina, in December, Fox 4 Dallas reported.
The viral video shows an unnamed woman inside hospital bed with eyes glued shut.
“Hi, if you’re here, then you’ve seen the viral video of my mother. She closed her eyes,” her daughter, Ria Faggart, posted on the GoFundMe page.

Faggart said her mother’s eyes will reopen between 5-7 weeks until they can properly identify if there are any damage.
“We appreciate all the prayers and concern,” she said. “She’s going to lose her job, and she’s a foster carer, so she doesn’t have a disability [insurance].”
This isn’t the first time someone has swapped nail glue and eye drops.
Brianne Shipley also went viral in October after having a similar product mix-up. Florida resident she took nail glue instead of eye medicine to treat a bacterial eye infection.

“After I got the notification, I blindly reached out, grabbed the bottle, opened my eye with one hand and put the drops in,” she told PEOPLE. “As the drop fell, I realized the consistency of the plastic bottle was wrong. As soon as it hit my eye, I started screaming.”
