Mahmudullah rejects a central contract while BCB announces the entire list for 2025


Bangladesh veteran versatile Mahmudullah Riyad has given up a great hint of his retirement from the International Crown, because he has decided against the renewal of his central contract. The official of the Bangladesh Cricket Committee revealed that Riyad had informed the Committee that he was not interested in obtaining a central contract for next season, starting with March 2025. Cricbuzz said by the BCB official: “He asked the Committee that he did not consider him in the central contract since March onwards.”

Initially, the former Bangladesh captain was listed in relation to the BCB proposed contract, but made it clear that he did not want to be part of the central contracts for the upcoming cycle, which means that Riyadh would receive his salary only for January and February before he officially rejected.

Players in the A+ class will get 10 lakh likes as a salary. Class A players will get 8 lakh taka, while class B and class C earn 6 lakh such and 4 lakh such. Those in class D will get 2 lakh such.
