Dolly Parton surprises only a few weeks after her husband’s death

Dolly Parton She appeared on her first public appearance on Friday after losing her husband of 59 years earlier this month.
Carl Dean died on March 3. Despite the loss, the legend of country music surprised guests at the Dollywood Fame Theater in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, in honor of the 40th anniversary of the thematic park.
“Of course I will always love him and will miss me, but I wanted you to know that I would always love you,” Parton told guests, according to up to 7news.

Parton also went to Instagram, Sharing photo with a return blow by itself on the Ferris wheel. “Hey @dollywood! Here’s 40 years together,” she wrote, including red heart emoji. “Dollywood has officially opened for the 2025 season!”

The star of the country announced that her 82-year-old husband had died in Nashville on Instagram.
“Carl and I spent many wonderful years together,” wrote in a statement at that time. “Words can’t make the love we shared for over 60 years. Thank you for prayers and sympathy.”
The country’s music star later shared a thank you message.
“This is a love note to family, friends and fans,” Parton Posted on Instagram. “Thank you for all the messages, cards and flowers you sent to respect the loss of my beloved husband, Carla. I can’t reach each of you personally, but I just know that meant the world to me.”

Dean will be laid to rest in a private ceremony with the current family present.
Parton first met Dean In the laundry when she was 18, and she was 21. They got married in 1966. Rarely did Parton’s side see him, but she always played a strong supporting role in her life.
“He always supports me until I try to get him into that,” Parton said in 2019 at her premiere on her Netflix series, “Heart Dolly Parton.”

Parton’s husband He served as an inspiration for one of the biggest hits of the country music star. Dean grabbed a bank saleswoman in the 1970s, citing Parton to write “Jolene”. The melody begs another woman not to take her man and is really a “innocent” song, says Country Croner.

“She got this terrible infatuation with my husband,” Parton said in 2008. “And he just liked to go to the bank because she paid him so much attention,” she recalled. “It was like a joke between us when I said, ‘Hell, you spend a lot of time at the bank. I don’t believe we have that kind of money. “So it’s really an innocent song all around, but it sounds like awful.”
