‘Blood Moon’: Photos take 1. The total lunar eclipse – National

Stargazers around the world have been treated with the first total eclipse of the moon – a “blood moon”.
The March full moon, also called a worm, reached top lighting in the early hours of Friday and was visible from Toronto in Canberra, Australia.
The eclipse of the moon occurs when the Earth is perfectly aligned between the moon and the sun, so that the Earth’s shadow falls to the surface of the moon, according to NASA -I.
The complete eclipse of the moon is when the whole month is the darkest part of the Earth’s shadow, which appears red-orange and name, “Blood Moon.”
