Taiwanese star Barbie Hsu dies in 48
Taiwanese actress Barbie Hsu died of pneumonia after infecting the flu while she was on vacation in Japan, a report of local media. She was 48 years old.
HSU is one of the biggest names in the world that talks about Mandarini, and is best known for his voice in the 2001 TV series.
Meteor Garden was named in several languages and made HSU a big star in Philippines, Indonesia and Thailand.
Her sister Dee Hsu confirmed her death on Monday on Taiwanese TVBs News.
“During the Lunar New Year or the family came to Japan for a vacation. My favorite sister Barbie unfortunately left us after receiving pneumonia, launched by the flu,” said Dee HSU in a statement shared by her manager.
“I am grateful that I am her sister in this life, worrying about each other … I’ll always be grateful to her and I remember her.”
