In the middle of the race or we had a bad point of view, toward the end, or I screwed up something and I remember pulling out, weaving behind a pampe cars, thinking I did it, I gave up all over, everything I ever worked, I never forget Dave Rogers. Carl Edwards pushed forward, overcoming all his competitors. But the final caution proved to be a turning point. He admitted that he felt like a universe against him, adding:
“It was like the last thing to say, the hell, you should not win this thing.”
He even accused Nascar of throwing caution of making the race more exciting, calling her a “fact.” However, over time, he saw it differently, realizing that it was an incentive to deviate from the race. Edwards admitted that the loss of the title helped him to realize that driving was not his true call.

In an interview with Radio Siriusxm Nascar, Carl Edwards explained why he agreed to return. For years, he rejected bids to join a broadcasting cabin, but a limited schedule with five races made him reconsider.
“I was in Hong Kong on this separate thing,” Edwards said. “A Randy Fuller said, ‘Hey, Amazon will do some of these races. It’s five races and they want to talk to you. “And that hit me.
The Amazon team flew to Missouri to meet Edwards – a rare event because he rarely hosted meetings at his home. But he felt the current connection with the crew.
“We basically ran around Columbia, Missouri and did their usual day. And I realized that this was part of the family. It was as if it were a family where I want to be a part. Cool people actually care about the sport,” he added.
Edwards appreciated that the team was not focused on “suits and ties and numbers”. Instead, they wanted to make Nascar covering for fun for fans. For those who missed the insight and charisma of Carl Edward, his return – even behind the table – will be a welcome scene.
