Boxing legend George Foreman, a double heavyweight champion and an iconic spokesman, dies in 76

The former double heavyweight champion, George Foreman, passed away today at the age of 76. He was allegedly at Foreman’s Family Instagram place, confirmed by WBC President Mauricio Sulaiman.

The speech of the 1968 Golden Olympic Medal (76-5, 68 KO) enjoyed the captured world titles in 1973 and 1994. He withdrew from a rich man’s sport, thanks to being a spokesman for George Foreman Grill. He made a wealth from the barbecue, which is still today.

‘Big George’ had an interesting career in two. In the first was this slender, muscular fighter known for the knockout of Joe Frazier and Ken Norton.

He was stopped by Muhammad but in 1974. He retired after on March 17, 1977, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in the 12th round, the unanimous loss of Jimmy Young’s decision. Foreman retired ten years before he started his return in 1987 at the age of 39.

He was no longer a skinny, lean head still possessed his power, but he was slower than he was in his younger days. He knocked out like Gerry Cooney, Dwight Muhammad and Bert Cooper before later becoming a double heavyweight champion when IBF and WBA champion Michael Moorer stopped in the tenth round of November 5, 1994.

Foreman was 45 at the time. Three years later, Foreman retired after losing a controversial decision on the majority of 12 circles of Shannon Briggs on November 2, 1997. Many boxing fans who saw that the fight considered Foreman robbed and considered it a political matter.

Foreman worked for HBO 12 years before retirement in 2004. He made the show interesting to listen to him, him and Larry Merchant.
