Blues passes through the first leg conference league
Chelsea secured a 2-1 victory over FC Copenhagen in the Europa Conference League, and the second half of Reece James and Enza Fernandez proved enough to see a late revival on the Danish side.
The first half was a firmly disputed thing, with both sides struggling to find a breakthrough.
Chelsea approached the stop time when Tyrique George’s head, from Reece James Cross, closely missed the target.
In the meantime, FC Copenhagen had his best chance when Viktor Claieson hit a post well-setting up from a heavy angle after going well with Birger Meling a ball.
Despite several promising attacks of both teams, the opening of 45 minutes ended without a goal.
Chelsea has made three changes at halftime, introducing Enzo Fernandez, Christopher Nkunk and Levi Colwill in an attempt to shake things up.
The decision paid off immediate dividends while Reece James broke down for a few moments in the second half.

Helped by Marc Cucurella, Captain Chelsea fired his right leg outside the frame to the lower left corner, leaving Copenhagen’s goalkeeper without a chance.
Chelsea continued to press, and their efforts were rewarded in the 65th minute.
Tyrique George turned the service provider, setting Enzo Fernandez, who put home home from the middle of the box right leg into the lower right corner.
The Blues looked in control, and now it holds a comfortable lead of two goals.
However, FC Copenhagen refused to descend without a fight. In the 80th minute, Gabriel Pereira pulled one back to the hosts, moving to the cross of Marcos Lopez to the upper right corner to light hopes for the return.
The goal came only after Kevin Diks was forced with the injury, adding the challenges of the home side.
There was a real share in physical battles in the match, and Trevoh Chalobah received a free kick, and Kevin Diks received a yellow card at the final stages for a bad offense.
Chelsea’s Christopher Nkinka and Tyrique George were both caught in an offside as they sought to stretch the defense of Copenhagen.
As the clock went down, Chelsea managed to withstand the late pressure on the home side, holding on to key victories.
Copenhagen’s witty return shot was short, and Chelsea’s solid defensive efforts ensured that they remained from the benefits.
