Emma Raducan: The British comes out of Indian wells after defeat from the first round of Japanese Moyuka Uchii | Tennis news
British Emma Raducan was defeated in direct sets by Japanese Moyuk Uchii in her first match at Indian Wells on Thursday.
It was the first appearance of Raducanu from her was the target of “fixed behavior” of a man during the Dubai Championship in Februarywith the fact that the man then forbade all future WTA events “waiting for threat assessment” and assigned a restriction on the order.
After admitting before the event that she was not sure if she would end up in Indian Wells, Raducan lost 3-6 2-6 from Uchia while the couple fought through strong winds in the desert, but the British ultimately could not judge the fight against his opponent in shape.
This is also the first time she has joined with the new coach Vladimir Plantik, after Nick Cavaday gave up for health reasons after the Australian Open, where Raducan strongly beat up five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek.
