Gabbard’s return of the Senate was reached despite the concern about her last meeting with former Syrian President Bashar Al-Assad, her previous attitude of FISA section 702 and her last support for NSA Whistleblower Edward Snowden.
Trump announced his choice of Gabbard in November for DNA in shortly after he was elected. “I am glad to announce that the former congress woman, Lieutenant Tulsi Gabbard, will serve as director of the National Intelligence (DNI) director,” he said at that time in that statement.
