David Warner begs England fans to encourage him in the hundred 2025
Former Australian dough, David Warner, should make it debut in the hundredth with London Spirit and has no worry about dealing with Boos’s English fan. The veteran opener expressed his excitement for playing in England, stating that he greets the reactions of the fans as long as they continue to support the team.
Warner focused on the T20 League around the world since retirement from the 2024 International Crown. He was part of the Dubai Capitals team that won the T20 2025 International League, but went to Nepodat at the IPL Mega auction. Warner has now secured a lucrative playing contract for London Spirit in a hundred.
I actually want them to come to Australians – David Warner
David Warner, who often faced an enemy’s reception in England, has no problem with fans that raised him during the 100th year. He recalled his past experiences, including the incident of a long master who warmed the long room during the 2023 ashes. However, he called on fans to continue supporting London Spirit.
“I actually want them to come to Australians. I love these things. That’s what drives me. But I want to support London Spirit. If they want to arouse me, be me, but don’t lift a team or something. Continue cheering for us,” Warner said on Thursday.
Warner chose Southern locks for the first season of hundreds, but could not participate because of the crowded international schedule. He was not elected tournament last year.
We just have to wait until I step into that park first – David Warner
David Warner opened on his return to Lord’s, home soil of the London spirit. He expressed excitement for playing in front of English crowds, stating that their energy, whether supporting or hostile, motivates him. Warner also mentioned that he was looking forward to passing past a long room.
“We just have to wait until I step into that park, aren’t I ?. I will have to go past the long room first to get to the locker room! I’m really looking forward to it. I know that England’s crowds are and that excites me, whether they support me, a team or whoever I am. I just love being there, playing in front of the crowd,” said Warner.
Heated exchange of David Warner with MCC members at Lord’s
David Warner had a fierce exchange with members of Marylebone Crickket Club (MCC) in a long room at Lord’s during the ashes of 2023, following the controversial tease of Jonny Bairstow Alex Carey.
The incident led to the expulsion of one member and the suspension of two others. Because Lord now serves as Warner’s Home Ground for the 100th, he could face the uneasy reception of the English audience.
The left dough is likely to be presented in the XI toy for London Spirit. The tournament will start with a match between the London spirit and oval distrust in Lord’s 5 August.
