Nicolas Jackson injury: The Chelsea striker has turned off by April with the problem of the lower leg | Football news
Chelsea chief Enzo Maresca said Nicolas Jackson could miss “six to eight weeks” of action due to muscle injuries.
Chelsea striker was withdrawn early in the second half during a 2-1 victory over West Ham in early February.
Speaking on Thursday, Maresca said Jackson would be on the side to the international break next month.
“Nico will go out to the international break and probably available after an international break,” he said.
“We knew it was a muscular problem, but we didn’t know how important it was because of his reaction. We all thought it was not a big injury, but unfortunately, he had scanning and would take about six to eight weeks.”
Maresca also confirmed that a fellow striker Marc Gui will be placed aside with a similar lower leg injury for a while.
However, Romeo Lavia and Benoit Badiashile approach the return to full fitness, while Wesley Fofana returned to the group, though it will take him “two or three weeks” to be available for blues.
Maresca also rejected the rumors about the further return of James James injury, and was set for the selection, despite the fact that the defeat of FA Cup Chelsea in Brighton disappeared.
Maresca: We will find a solution
Despite the injuries in the attack on areas, Maresca is unwavering, she will be able to find a solution within her current detachment.
Christopher nkinka Filled as an attacker in the defeat of the FA Cup in Brighton, Jackson I Gui’s absence last weekend, but for Maresc, France is not his only option in the area.
“Christopher [Nkunku] It could be one of the solutions, but not the only solution, “he said.
“I said from the first day that Christopher was not NO9. Christopher is a attack midfielder. But we use it as not 9 to find a solution with all of them. But we know full well that Christopher is not appropriate no.
“We will try to find different solutions. I have always said that I considered Christian an important player from the beginning, but the problem is that they think they are only important if they play, if they don’t think they don’t think they are important.
“[Playing a wide player as a false No 9] could be a solution, for sure Feather [Neto] or Nonhi [Madueke] or even Tirik [George] I can try and can be a solution for us. Jadon [Sancho] with a different type of skill.
“But it’s not just a NO9. When you don’t have the right no.
“You may need to be more direct and you probably need more connection because you don’t have a threat, but we’ll find a solution.”
