Nascar Legend Richard Petty sends a two-word message about LMC’s “latest” revelation of Dayton 500

Legend Nascar Richard Petty He responded to the latest revelation of the Legacy Motor Club with a short but enthusiastic answer with two words. The team recently discovered the latest color scheme for Adventhealth for the upcoming race.
Petty had previously owned a Legacy Motor Club, which was then known by the name ‘Petty GMS Motorsports’. It is significant that it continues to have a smaller share of the company. Showing the enthusiasm for a new detection, the 87-year-old veteran issued a two-word answer. He wrote,
“Looks fast!”
The Legacy Motor Club (LMC) has discovered its new color scheme through the official Twitter account (@legacymotorclub). The video attached to Tweet showed the design in four car colors. Three shades of blue, different intensity, combine with green accents on a white background, creating a vivid look. Tweet is described,
“Excited to discover the latest color scheme @adventhealth and see it in action on #Dayton500”
After discovering the color scheme, the Legacy Motor Club also confirmed that Chad Johnston would serve as Jimmie JohnsonCrew chief for 2025. Dayton 500. Johnston joined the LMC in November 2024. As manager Race Engineering.
Johnston had previously worked at Stewart-Haas Racing, where he was a crew chief for Ryan Preece during the 2023 and 2024 season. He led Kyle Larson to four victories of the series in 2017 and secured the first victory of Martin Truex Jr. -a 2013. Focusing on the big American race on February 16, this change could be significant for Johnson.
The Legacy Motor Club competes under the inscription Toyota Gazoo Racing. Their driver’s line includes Erik Jones (No. 43), John Hunter Nemechek (No. 42) and Jimmie Johnson (No. 84), who participate in selected races.

In 2017, an exhibition of Richard Petty Petty was exhibited in the Great Hall of Nasscar Hall of Fame. It includes over 100 artifacts from the Petty Racing family. Before he agreed to the exhibition, Petty made it clear that he wanted to recognize the contribution of the whole tiny family. “Well, it’s about it. I wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for a family. You know what I mean? And my family wouldn’t be here if it hadn’t been for me. Richard Petty, a second -generation driver from the Petty Racing family, has seven Cup series titles, the highest wins, most of the sex positions and countless other records. He was introduced into the Nazcar Council inaugural Council in 2010.
However, he is not the only one from a small family who has become part of the racing world. Lee Petty, Richard’s father, won the Dayton 500 three times. Richard’s son, Kyle Petty, won at eight Nascar races and became a commentator, and his brother Maurice Petty briefly ran before building Richard’s championship cars.
