Georgia Football: Kirby Smart moves finger at Johnny Manziel

Smart spoke when four former collegial back blows appeared on his screen – Alabama Bryce Young, LSU -ov Joe Burrow, Texas a & m’s Manziel and Auburn Cam Newton. He asked what was common to every return blow.

One person shouted “Heisman”. Smart said it was a good answer. Each player won the Heisman trophy during his time in college. Someone else said “Champion”, and it seemed that the bridge was too far for Smart.
“Champions? He is not the champion. The champion what? The champion of the fiery ball,” Smart said about Manziel. “All right, okay, okay, I’m going here for you. There’s Heisman. Okay? Everyone had great days in relation to our defense. All four of them somehow somehow.”

Manziel struggled with drug and alcohol addiction during and after NFL career with Cleveland Browns. He was thinking about the roots and influence of his addiction in Q&A with students and those who recover at the University of Alabama Vital Health Conference Back in August.
Manziel stated during the conference that alcohol no longer has a place in his life. He also indicated that experience had taught him a new way to manage any potential future success. He surrounded himself with advisers who pushed him to him when needed. He said he learned in the past that he was too unanimous support from those around him.
