Two American tourists were attacked a shark At the popular Bahama resort during the weekend, police said.
Women’s swimmers were in the waters of Bimini Bay, which is part of the most welcome island in Bahamas and about 50 miles from Miami, around 6:30 pm, when the attack occurred.
“Initial reports indicate that the victims, both residents of the US, sustained injuries while swimming in the waters in Bimini Bay,” the Royal Bahamas police forces wrote in a press release.

Both victims of a reported shark attack initially received local medical treatment before they were transferred to New ProvidenceA special island in the Bahamas, for further medical care.
“One of the victim injuries is listed as serious,” the police continued in their statement on Saturday, adding that the investigation was ongoing.
At least two other Americans have suffered seizures of sharks in Bahamas in just over a year.

The boy was transported to the hospital and survived the attack.
The royal police forces of Bahamas did not immediately respond to the comment or provided further information.
