“I stood with them here in this country, in every war theater we have. I was on the ground in the service of this nation. And all the accusations that equalized me to somehow make political bias before the Constitution was grotesquely unfair,” “he said is.
He then pointed to the approval of over 300,000 law enforcement officers as the next office chief.
