But even as a specialized central back, in the history of his career in Vallejo, there is little that suggests that he would be ready to start for Madrid. The 28-year-old struggled to command a place in the Wolverhampton Wanderers during the 2019/20 loan. He spent two and a half years out of the last five in Granada.
