While some were quick to claim the teenager should have received a second yellow card for a late tackle on Andrew Robertson just moments before the goal, there’s no denying the Swede deserved his moment to remember in north London.
That shock result will at least cover the cracks for now, but it shouldn’t rule out further January signings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, given their defensive injuries and lack of quality at times.

According to Pete O’Rourke of Football Insider, Tottenham are now regularly monitoring Anis Hadja Moussa along with Liverpool in the race to sign the Feyenoord winger who won the man of the match award in the 3-3 draw against Manchester City earlier this season.
Hadj Moussa, who steals the show with a superb performance and the first of three goals for his side to start a dramatic return to the Etihad, is certainly one to watch in the coming weeks. Still only 22, if Spurs are looking for a long-term replacement for their son, the Algerian could be their man.

With Son likely starting to pass his prime at 32, those in north London would be wise to find a replacement sooner rather than later. Without the South Korean’s usual form, Spurs were given a glimpse of the frustrating reality they could find themselves in on a permanent basis this season, rooted in mid-table and on course to miss out on European football.
However, the arrival of a rising star in Hadj Moussa could quickly help turn things around. He praised the young winger for his “fantastic form”. Football talent scout Jacek Kulig last month in what might just be a sign of things to come.
WITH six goals and two assists with his name in all competitions this season, Hadj Moussa is starting to show all the signs of a player ready to burst into life.
