Jon Moxley to drop the popular Death Rider star after the event at AEW Dynamite? Analyzing the odds

The Death Riders have been a powerful faction since their inception a few months ago. The group removed anyone who stood in the way of Jon Moxley’s vision for AEW.

However, the group seems to have a weak link Wheeler Utah. When Mox and his team turned on Bryan Danielson, Yuta was not involved in the decision and was shocked. This shows that they probably think of him as lesser than the others. The 28-year-old was not an original member of the Death Riders and only joined them after Mox defeated Bryan Danielson for the AEW World Championship.

Looking back on his days in the Blackpool Fight ClubYuta always seemed to be the weakest member of the group. They have always treated him like an errand boy. This week on Dynamite was a perfect example of this when The Decoder was pinned during a three-way Death Riders match against Rated FTR.

The producer of violence might begin to perceive it as a nuisance. If Moxley wants to realize his vision, then he needs to get rid of those who are holding him back, and that could mean Wheeler Yuta. You could ask Claudio Castagnoli and PAC to carry out the task of attacking Yuta and kicking him out of the group similar to what they did to Bryan Danielson. This is arguably the best way forward for the group to maintain their dominance and send the message that not even one of them will be tolerated when it comes to the overall goal of Jon Moxley and his Death Riders.

Konnan is no longer a fan of Jon Moxley

Jon Moxley and the Death Riders have done some controversial things in a short amount of time. Mox is responsible for booking the story and while they try to portray themselves as a dominant force, the group has come under the scrutiny of fans and legends of late for their lackluster engagement.

Speaking of his Keepin’ It 100 official podcast, Konnan recalled that he first heard about Jon Moxley from a WWE trainer. He admitted that he was impressed after watching one of his promos in India. However, based on his current bookings, Konnan said he is no longer a fan of Mox.

“I remember Norman Smiley who works for a similar training guide in WWE and I remember him saying there’s a guy…what was his name before Moxley….Dean Ambrose. There’s a kid who goes there called Dean Ambrose you have to look out for him because he’s very different he walks to the beat of his own drum and he’s going to be a star one day so I went and looked him up and saw this promo radio in the indies and I was like, ‘This guy’s good,’ and I was big fan of Dean Ambrose Moxley. Jon Moxley will not be happy after the Death Riders’ recent loss to Rated R Superstar and FTR. It will be interesting to see if there are any repercussions for Wheeler Yuta.
