Persons who survived abortion criticize Democrats for blocking the Born-Alive ‘Abortion Act:’ They do not treat us as human beings’

Priscilla Hurley, another person who survived an abortion who once worked in the abortion industry, told Fox News Digital that she was disappointed, but not surprised that Democrats rejected the bill.
“According to the law ‘living born’, doctors who perform these abortions in the late term can no longer get away with it if the baby is born alive,” Hurley said. “They have to provide care, and the people around them have to report it if they do not.

Senate Democrats blocked “Law on the Protection of Live Birth Persons who survived abortion” from advancement in the Chamber on Wednesday. The measure would require healthcare professionals to try to save the life of a baby born during an attempt to abortion and ensure that the child is hospitalized.
An infant who survives abortion attempts they already have equal protection under the Federal Law passed in 2002, however, according to the Pro-Life Institute Charles Lozier, the Federal Law “does not contain demands that the survivors of the abortion be provided appropriate to him or to be transferred to the hospital, and there is no implementation mechanism if he is violated law.”
According to the proposal of the Law “Living Born”, a healthcare professional who does not provide the degree of care for a child surviving abortion or one who does not report the lack of care provided, is subject to criminal sentences, from a fine of up to five years in prison.
Democrats argued that the bill is superfluous, given the existing laws against Cedor and murder, and that it could threaten the lives of women seeking abortion in late terms because of emergency medical cases, while unjustly punishing doctors.

Those who survived abortion disagree, calling these protection with a question of human rights that should not be politicized.
Ohden, who survived after attempting abortion by the infusion of saline solution In 1977, he supported the Law on the Protection of Living Birthdays who survived the abortion as proposed by the Republicans over the past decade. Democrats have repeatedly blocked the law of law in previous congresses.

Hurley added, “I just pray that their eyes open to the truth.”
“I don’t think they really take times, frankly, talk to people and listen to the facts because they just protect the doctors. They call it women’s health care, which has nothing to do with. It has to do with human rights,” she continued.
Ohden believes that there is not enough awareness of the existence of women who survived abortion. Her group, an abortion survivor, has more than 900 members, and she personally believes that the actual number of abortions survivors is much higher given today’s prevalence of chemical abortion. She showed on recent study In the American Journal of Obtetrics and Gynecology, who revealed that 11% of abortions in the second quarter resulted in vibrancy.
Both people who survived abortion called this measure “by the law of common sense” that ensures that babies surviving abortion receive the same level of medical care as any other baby born in that pregnancy.
