The greatest nation in the history of the world has just lasted four years devastating inflationwide open borders, failure on the global stage, rise in crime, rejection of common sense and a constant diet of radical awakened ideology. But six weeks ago, the American people boldly announced that we had had enough. Seventy-seven million voters gave President-elect Donald Trump a convincing political victory. He won the election, carried every swing state, and earned an undeniable mandate to restore American strength and prosperity.

Republicans also gained control of both houses of Congress to help President Trump implement his America First agenda from day one. Terrible failures President Joe BidenVice President Kamala Harris, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, and former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi must address it immediately.

The American people cannot afford to wait for help when their lives and livelihoods are at stake. As Republican leadership in Congress, we have prepared an aggressive plan to remove all obstacles and provide a path for President Trump’s reforms and policy agenda. He will use his executive power to quickly address the many crises left by the Biden administration, but Congress must cement President Trump’s legacy and transformative changes.

TRUMP GIVES JOHNSON ‘FULL AND COMPLETE SUPPORT’ AHEAD OF PRESIDENTIAL FIGHT

with single legislative powerwe will start working from the moment the 119th Congress begins. Over the past year, while media pundits have scoffed at the idea of a Republican-controlled Washington, House Republicans have been preparing for the occasion. We took the lead in drafting legislative solutions to end the border disaster, restore America’s energy dominance, cut taxes for families and create new jobs and restore sanity. And throughout the campaign cycle, we’ve explained how our principles and ideas can help President Trump turn the country around.

In order to achieve that vision, we must remain united. Despite its popularity Pre-election promises of the newly elected President TrumpCongressional Democrats will do everything they can to stop us. Any major decision will require the near unanimity of Republicans in the House of Representatives. We have neither time nor votes to spare.

President Trump’s return to DC in 2025 will be very different from his first arrival in 2017, and the landscape is vastly different now than it was eight years ago.

Republicans in Congress campaigned on President Trump’s America First agenda, his cabinet picks and transition operations are supported by the people, world leaders and even former political opponents are embracing his return to office, and House leaders have been working with President Trump’s team for months to ensure that we are in step with the political recipes needed to pull America back from the brink.

Consider the budget reconciliation process as evidence. In 2017, Republicans in Congress had major differences over the size and scope of the bill. The failure to plan properly limited the president’s ability to carry out his plan. This time we developed a plan full of ideas that the majority of Americans across the country already support. The only thing standing in the way of legislative success is Congress itself.

Through reconciliation, we will work to ensure that President Trump has all the resources available to turn the situation around a deadly wave of illegal aliens who invaded our nation and wreaked havoc on our communities. We will prevent the largest tax increase in US history. We will revive the economy and reduce the inflation of Bidenomics. We will restore America’s energy dominance and dismantle the destructive Green New Deal. And we will reduce the size and scope of government and make it more efficient and accountable again.

There is good reason for palpable excitement and a sense of renewed hope in the country. The American people are ready to stop losing and start winning again, and now is the time.
