Chloe Kelly joins Arsenal on loan from WSL Rivals Man City

Chloe Kelly completed a loan from Manchester City to former Arsenal Club.

Kelly, the hero of the European Championships in England in 2022, has fallen badly in the blue half of Manchester and will now end the 2024/25 campaign instead, which will expire with the City.

The 27-year-old refused the occupation of Brighton & Hove Albion to seal her move, although the late occupation of Arsenal came as a surprise after he looked at first while Manchester United would sign her. Kelly has a populated personal life in the northwest, but she was born and collected in the capital, joining Arsenal’s Academy as a young man and in 2015 debut of the first team at the age of 17.

“Chloe is an exciting offensive player and will be a great addition to our team as we approach the second half of the season,” said Arsenal’s head coach Renee Slegers.

“She is direct and explosive, with huge natural talent and abilities. We all look forward to working with Chloe as a player of Arsenal in the coming months.”

Kelly took social media on Wednesday night to express frustration because of the situation she found herself in the city, initially blocking her wishes to leave the club.

“When the EUR quickly approaches, this summer is huge and I want to be able to give my best recording to represent my country,” she said in that post.

“However, to be dictated by whom I can, and what I cannot join only four months left since the football season, has a huge impact on not only my career because of my mental well -being.”

Laura Wienroit also joined Manchester City on loan from Arsenal.
