Chelsea and England defender Lucy Bronze expressed her support for Jenni Hermoso and other former teammates in Barcelona after the Spanish High Court ruled that Luis Rubiales was guilty of sexual abuse.

“Everyone is using their platforms to change and try to be positive- I think this is especially in women’s sport in general. We all have a back to each other, we all try to strengthen ourselves. Unfortunately there is this negative side for that sport in general, but the fact that we are trying to make Changes, we want the world to be a better place, sports we play as better places.
“To use our platforms to try to push these things forward, make a change for good for all girls and boys, this is something that is really dear to us in our hearts and the reason we want to speak.”
