Man United star Antony could leave the Premier League club during the January transfer window and the winger could be offered a move away from the La Liga side.

The Antony’s agent admitted that several clubs had approached for the Brazilian ahead of the January window as the 24-year-old looks for an exit from Old Trafford after falling out of favor with Manchester.

Ruben Amorim swore to help Antonio turn his tide, but that remains to be seen during the Portuguese manager’s short stay at Man United.

The 24-year-old has made just four Premier League appearances from the bench since the former Sporting CP coach arrived and has had very little impact on the pitch as the Red Devils continue to underperform.

Ruben Amorim’s latest words ahead of January could worry Man United fans

According to ABCReal Betis are one of the clubs hoping to sign Antony on loan in January and are willing to split his wages with Man United to get the deal over the line.

The Manchester club could be open to this as it would allow them to take some of the Brazilian star’s wages off their books as the winger earns a whopping £200k a week at Old Trafford.

Antony arrived at Man United in the summer of 2022 as part of a A deal worth £86m with Ajax after the winger enjoyed a successful spell with the Dutch giants under Erik ten Hag, however, the Brazilian star has failed to adapt to the Premier League.

The winger has struggled with the physicality of the English Premier League and has struggled with confidence since his arrival at Man United, which is always detrimental to strikers.

The 24-year-old made 94 appearances for United, scoring just 12 goals and providing five assists. This is not good enough for a club like the Manchester giants and so it looks like his stay at Old Trafford will soon come to an end.
