Real Madrid beat Atletico Madrid in the Criminal Shooting League of Champions – Again – to establish a quarterfinals of the Champions League with Arsenal.
Defender Antonio Rudiger scored a decisive kick in a 4-2 victory after missing two Atletico players.
Marca Llorente’s shot hit at the bar after Julian Alvarez slid and banned him from a criminal strike after Var check ruled that the Argentine had twice touched the ball.
Real Madrid also beat Atletico in the shooting to win the 2016 Champions League final – part of the elimination of their city rivals in four legal years.
Real went through a tense derby that finished 2-2 after extra time. Atletico led 1-0 after 90 minutes and extra time at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium to cancel Real’s 2-1 advantage from last week’s first leg.
Atletico took the lead with his first attack when the English midfielder Conor Gallagher had close up from close range to a net fastest goal that the Englishman scored in the Champions League history.
Gallagher opened home Atletico Madrid after only 27 seconds to become the first Englishman to score in the Madrid derby.
It turned out to be the only goal of 120 minutes, although Vinicius JR flammated the high and wide penalty of the second half, before being replaced by the teenager Endrick in additional time.
